Shopping requests and AI processing
Your search text, clarification answers, selected options, manufacturer or model details, language and comparison context are sent to Siftello’s server to interpret your needs and find product candidates. Relevant request details and product information are sent to OpenAI to clarify intent, explain options and assess matches.
Our OpenAI requests set store: false. That setting is not a promise of zero retention by OpenAI. Provider processing, security records and any applicable retention are governed by the provider’s terms and settings; LeesLab does not claim that all copies are immediately deleted.
AliExpress and external product pages
AliExpress receives generated search terms, relevant product or option identifiers, delivery country, currency and supported language parameters for product lookup, delivery information and affiliate links. Shopping details you enter can be reflected in those search terms. LeesLab may receive a commission from qualifying purchases through affiliate links.
Product images may load from external image hosts, which receive ordinary network request information. Opening an AliExpress link takes you to a separate service; its privacy, cookie and account policies apply there. AliExpress handles your account, final delivery address, orders and payment. Siftello does not take your payment or place orders.
Hosting, sessions and abuse prevention
Cloudflare hosts Siftello and processes network information such as IP addresses and request metadata to deliver and protect the site. Siftello stores search sessions, derived product requirements, guides, results and comparison progress in server storage on Cloudflare so requests can continue and repeated work can be reused.
Rate limiting uses pseudonymous identifiers derived from network addresses and request counters. These counters do not store the raw IP address, but pseudonymization does not make all service activity anonymous. AI cost accounting also stores reservation identifiers, timestamps and usage costs.
For reliability and troubleshooting, the backend records operation types and outcomes from a fixed set, numeric durations and queue measurements, and counts of AI and catalog requests. These application log entries exclude search text, request bodies, tokens and IP addresses. Automatic invocation logs and traces are disabled, and URL query strings are configured to be redacted. Cloudflare may still process platform metadata separately; its log retention is not a deletion deadline controlled by Siftello.
Current retention and expiry
The following are configured validity or cleanup intervals, not guaranteed physical deletion deadlines. Cleanup is currently triggered by later relevant requests or capacity eviction. An expired record can remain in persistent storage until that cleanup occurs; continuing an activity may refresh its expiry.
- Search clarification sessions: 20 minutes from creation or refresh. Initial clarification cache: 5 minutes; unsupported-request cache: 2 minutes.
- Option guides and product identity caches: 24 hours. Product, option, affiliate-link and recommendation result caches: generally 5 minutes. Ordinary result-page continuation: 20 minutes.
- Seller comparison: initial access token 30 minutes; active comparison progress, continuation records, seller-search checkpoints and comparison-query caches up to 24 hours of validity, with active progress refreshes. Completed result cache: 5 minutes.
- Pseudonymous request-limit counters: cleanup after more than 2 minutes idle; new-search limit counters: after 24 hours idle, when the relevant cleanup runs. Cost-accounting records have no automatic deletion schedule in the current application.
- Support messages, provider logs and provider backups do not have a fixed deletion period enforced by Siftello’s application. Email remains in the support inbox until removed. Contact LeesLab to ask about particular records; we cannot promise deletion of every provider-held copy.
Browser preferences and your choices
The browser saves your display-language preference, language selection mode, delivery country and currency in local storage. These saved preferences have no automatic expiry and remain until you clear site data or the browser removes them. The browser’s language setting helps choose a display language. The saved preference record stays in your browser; selected language, country and currency are also included in relevant service requests.
To restore your place after a refresh, Siftello also uses this tab’s session storage for the confirmed product type and option definitions, selected requirements, country and currency, displayed ready results (including product links and opaque comparison or pagination tokens), selected view, request language, sort order and scroll positions. It does not save the unfinished clarification conversation or API credentials. This snapshot has a fixed 15-minute lifetime from receipt of the confirmed category; later changes do not extend it. Expired, invalid or unsupported snapshots are removed when read, New search clears the snapshot, and the browser normally clears tab session storage when the tab closes. Large snapshots may keep only the product type and options. Restoring saved results does not automatically repeat a search or load more results; server tokens may expire separately.
Clearing Siftello site data removes local preferences, not server records. This notice does not claim that infrastructure or linked services use no cookies or collect no analytics. Their processing is separate from the preferences described here.
Support, deletion and notice changes
Email to the support address below is routed through Cloudflare to Gmail for LeesLab. Both services process your sender details, message and attachments. Send only what is needed for your request.
To ask about access, correction or deletion, email LeesLab with enough context to locate the information, such as an approximate usage time and relevant search terms. No Siftello account links all searches to a named person. We may need to verify a request and will explain what we can find, remove or cannot control. We will update the date when this notice changes.
